Dr Felicity Brims MBBS FRANZCOG MPH & TM
Felicity grew up in Canberra and attended medical school at the University of Queensland. After a year as an Intern at the Cairns Base Hospital, she spent several years working in country Queensland and commencing training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Brisbane in 2003.
During her specialist training, Felicity spent several years in high risk obstetrics at the Mater Mothers Hospital in Brisbane, Townsville and Canberra Hospitals.
After volunteering for a year with MSF (Medecins Sans Frontieres) in Pakistan and West Africa, her senior years were spent training in Sydney and then at The Canberra Hospital.
Now settled in Canberra with her husband and young son, she is dividing her time between working as a public staff specialist at the Canberra hospital and in private practice. This allows her to continue her interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as participate in ongoing training of junior doctors and medical students.
